Both teams set to bounce back from a disappointing week,
Liverpool losing to Chelsea 4-4(7-5) in the CPL,
Arsenal crashing out to Chelsea 1-2 in the FA CUP.
What's at stake : Liverpool need all 3 points if they want to catch up with league leaders Manchester United who currently lead the league with 1 point and a game in hand while Arsenal needs three points to catch up with the rest of the pack. This should be an entertaining and interesting match to watch cause both team plays attacking football.
Arsenal : Wenger is set to start Bendtner and Eduardo up front after both Van Persie and Adebayor picked up minor injuries. Gallas will still be out together with Clichy , Djourou and Keeper Almunia.
Possible Starting XII : Fabianski , Eboue, Toure, Silvestre, Sagna - Walcott, Nasri, Fabregas, Arshavin - Bendtner, Eduardo
Liverpool : Skipper StevieG is still out with an injury, they will be banking on Torres and Alonso to set the pace for the home side.
Possible Starting XII : Reina, Arbeloa, Carragher, Agger - Mascherano, Alonso - Kuyt, Lucas, Riera, - Torres
Prediction :
Liverpool have a healthy squad compared to Arsenal which would give Liverpool the extra edge plus Liverpool had a 6 days rest compared to Arsenal who only had 2. Never the less, Arsenal looks to be in good form and will be looking to bounce back from the recent cup defeat.
