Well i'm gonna let you on a little secret *come closer* , There actually a coffee shop in Wisma Merdeka, actually make that two!


I'm just going to tell you about one first.
Located near Tongs, when you go up the escalator from NIKE just go on straight and you'll stumble on Kedai Kopi Pak Ka Lok.





Very famous for it's Hong Kong Porridge which would only cost you around rm4.50 - rm5, It has lots of different choices such as Chicken, Fish, Century Eggs, and Pork Porridge. I've tried it and it taste so good! What a bargain for only rm4.50! Besides Porridge it also serves Bee Hoon, Mee, Keoy Teow, and Mee Soup all from the price range of rm4.50 - rm5.

• Been operating for more than 20 years! thats right 20 years!!

• And She is a basketball fan ;)

Economy Merosot?? Think BIG!

Standard of Living in KK to me is quite high, everything is abit pricy especially the Food! Now when u go to the market and buy one whole chicken it would cost you roughly rm28. I mean comeon, 28 bucks for a chicken! -_-

So wanna find a cheap place to eat???

Think BIG = Think GIANT! Yes you heard me Giant Supermarket!

Located at most areas in KK, One could find hidden in Giant is a food stall. Selling loads of variety from meals to snacks such as rice,meat, sausage, burgers,fries and usually when you buy above rm5 you get a free drink with that(pretty cool huh). Best time to buy is usually around 12pm or 6pm when its freshly cook from the oven! So fear no more cause GIANT here! xD

EVER WONDER WHERE COULD YOU FIND ONE OF THE BEST LAKSA SHOP IN KOTA KINABALU?
One of them is Kedai Kopi Yee Fung!

Operated for almost 25 years, Yee Fung serves one of the best Laksa in town. Located at the famous Gaya Street(Famous for Sunday Market) at downtown, it is always full with customer from morning till afternoon. One medium laksa would cost you around rm4.50 and trust me, you need at least two bowls to satisfy your stomach. For those who don't like spicy food can have the preferance to order either Ngiu Chap or Claypot Chicken Rice which taste great as well!


I STRONGLY! Recommend people to try it out and enjoy one the best food in town.

Long Island Iced Tea

Last night I went to upperstar damai and I ordered a Long Island Iced Tea. It was the first time I tried it and now i know why its a favourite drink for most of my peers.

So what exactly is contained in a Long Island Iced Tea (LIIT).

• 1 part vodka
• 1 part tequila
• 1 part gin
• 1 part rum
• 1 part triple sec
• 1 1/2 part sweet and sour mix
• 1 splash of Cola

Some facts of LIIT :

1. This drink roughly contain around 28% alcohol.
2. There is NO tea in Long Island Ice Tea
3. Contains around 138 calories per 5oz serving
4. Subtituting sweet and sour mix with either pineapple juice or lime cordial can make the drink taste better
5. Was first served in the late 1970s

One of the best drink to have on a sunny afternoon or before entering the club.

Consume more of these and it could really put you on an Island!
